My very first paid photoshoot. :D

As you all know, Penang weather sucks lately. It's either rain or cloudy or more rain plus thunder. So, today's weather as expected was not good. Sometimes got sun, sometimes no sun.

The shoot was planned at 11am but started at about 12.30pm because Samantha was late due to some reason. No worries, it's all good. The shoot at the abandoned school did not turn out well because Samantha a hard time striking a pose and all. It's probably because its her 1st time in doing a shoot. We don't blame her because everybody has to go through their 1st time,right? I remember i was nervous too when it was my 1st time taking an actual portrait.

She was abit nervous and all. Moreover she told me she wasn't feeling right about that place. Probably because its like uber old and its abandoned..made it looked like a haunted house.

So, we came up with the End of the World location. It's a very rural fishing village. Its a very nice place. Trust me. Especially when you are there during the sunset. Well, you don't get to see the sunset but you still get to look at the magnificent sky color. It's amazing, i tell you.

Started the shoot at around 1pm. Got to Botanical Gardens and it was freaking hot !! Even though we are under the tree doing the makeup. Before we started the shoot, we were already sweating.

While the models were doing the makeup, me and Wayne went to survey around looking for a nice spot with nice grasses to shoot. Took an hour plus for the models to get ready. Once done, off we go. Did not really have the mood to shot at first due to the heat and all. I am not comfortable with me sweating.

Ai cheered me up. :)

Andd... the results :

Camwhores. It was a pose for me.

Hui Ying. She's a good model...seriously.

Location - Air Terjun Titi Kerawang

Model of the day - Laureen Quah

This place is located somewhere in between of Teluk Kumbar and Balik Pulau. Did take us quite awhile to reach that place. Departed from Sunshine Square and it took us nearly an hour to locate this place. Shoot started from 12.30pm and ended at around 5pm.

*Phew* Good thing it had a sign that says "Tasik Titi Kerawang" or else i'm pretty sure we end up getting lost. 

Got there, parked our car and waited for Laureen to reach. Her parents insisted in dropping her off and i'm guessing they would wanna see the faces of the people photographing their daughter.  :) Ohh..plus to check out the place if it's safe. 

To be honest, it's not that safe. The rocks are slippery even the ones that are not in the water. So, when you walk, gotta be-careful or else you might slip and fall. And the depth of the water is pretty deep. That's why i decided to only shoot Laureen on land. I'm guessing it's a safer choice. Gotta protect my cam !!  Wayne on the other hand took shots of her on land and in the water. You can check out his photos in his Deviantart.
